80 Sport A plate,spotted needs rescuing!
 

Hello!

Today I was passing what I think was a small Murco petrol stn just before Threekingham on the A52 Lincs.

Outside is a misty-windowed 80 Sport.I didnt stop but will soon when I have a camera.

Looks very much like it needeth lurrrrve and I'll enquire as to ownership next time I'm on my way to Grantham.

Yep,ok mate,I will be going over there again,most possible Saturday.I'll stop and get some piccies then.I'll also ask in the garage who owns it and if its for sale.

Finally went back to this car today.

Not good news in any sense

Its not for sale.

Its not a Sport but an 80 CD 5E in manual,grey met with beige interior,sunroof,some moss ...

The owners son owns it and is restoring her one day.

Reg was A709 LNB,supplied by Smith Knight Fay at some point in its life (probably their Stockport dealership)

It had the Audi ring decals at the bottom of the doors,this is what threw me into thinking it was a Sport.

No picture taking was allowed on their forecourt.

No mind:-(
