workmate just bought a Gem!!
just had a call from a workmate to go and view a car for him , and i was gutted to say the least,
its been RIGHT NEXT to where i have been working and didnt spot it its a Y plate , coupe with the 1900 engine, its completely stock with next to no rust, correct alloys, front bumper lip, and only 55K MILES!!!, the headlights are in mint condition, as are the wings and arches with just light rust under the rear 1/4 window and along the sills, i would have snapped it up if i saw it but at least its going to be repaired and not broken, its been off the road for 10 years!! will post up a pic in a min all for a measly £500 |
wounder!
Do you walk around with your eyes closed at work then!!!!! |
i think i must do lol
its a 5S and the guy has had it for YEARS, he is about 60 so its never been thrashed especially judging by the condition , heres a pic , sorry its the only one i got! http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...9092010208.jpg its lucky i didnt buy it thinking about it as i would have only stripped it for bits for the GT i have ! |

that needs to be restored to originality and former glory. Looks very very nice.
Mine came with a tow bar fitted. It wasn't on for long!! though I could imagine a torquey old 5 pot lump makes a good trailer puller |
