Nice car but the colour is ..umm .... welll....
Sorry to be picky but this is not a one off special built factory show car.
The body kit is Votex and was available from any dealer as was the lowered springs.
The rest is just standard factory ( seat and steering wheel) or factory extras.

Our saloon has all except the body kit .... oh and it's not yellow !! I wanted yello,wife said no to yellow-- and it was/is her car ! Dealer said the colour will decrease the price for the rest of it's life , by at least £1k !!
Your friend wants waaay too much for it.... probably by £1500 ...but good luck to him !

Afraid too much i have the 2000 quattro sport 180 bhp model in avant and its got more kit its only done 71000 miles lucky if i will get £2000 for that

Yes ours ( hers) has done 76000 and may be worth £2500?? It's a July 1999 model, quattro T Sport. I would expect your Avant to be worth another £500 though ? What colour is it? Hers is silver.

Thanks for your comments; I am merely trying to sell a car for a family in mourning so I think a little compassion and respect would have been nice here.

I'm sorry if you have been upset by the comments, however you had not stated the full circumstances at the outset how were we to know the circumstances?
Having re read the comments I still do not see what has caused upset however if I have given offence i'm sorry.

I can understand that you are trying to help under difficult circumstances but that does not alter the fact that the description is not particularly accurate and the price is extremely optimistic.

Two of us have lower mileage quattro versions of this car in, argueably, more saleable colours and neither of us would expect to get near that figure if we were selling.

Mine is metallic black but the body could do with a bit of tlc nothing major just looking a bit tired LOL if my brother had time he was going to paint both sides to freshen it up for me but i got it cheap it had the dreaded flashing oil light owner did not know what was wrong with it, i did replaced the oil pump done 10000 miles and it never has given a problem :rock:

K and S coachwork's in inverness??... im looking at getting my car welded up and primed?. .Readt my thread for more info.
