typ 85 wanted

I am looking for my very first audi! ;)

typ 85 80 or 90 quattro

I'm always keeping an eye on the for sale section, theres a few here and there, that purple one is quite nice but a bit dear with a few unwanted mods, the one from creiff seems a bit tatty and far to dear for condition.

anything in between would be perfect, something fairly clean at a fair price if anyone knows of an upcoming sale let me know!

thanks

At this moment i would jump at anything that seems like a good deal but av had a bit of time to think, the longer i wait the bigger my budget becomes, my ideal ride is typ 85 20v t conversion, the amount of time and money it would take to get all the parts id be aswell finding one. I know they a far and few between but i would pay good money. Or a good donor vehicle, that red coupe quattro 3b conversion that sold recently was the perfect donor;( tho it was a bit nice to chop.
My best mate posts as martinWS and is ABYing an 85 90 so I know the troubles of rounding up the goods haha

I guess i would be after either ,
typ 85 80/90 q 20vt or
std typ 85 quattro and a cheap 20vt vehicle (any engine type) or
std typ 85 quattro and any 20vt engine plus all auxiliaries

Any help/input on the situation would be appreciated !!!!!!!!!!

I am selling my CQ type 85 with aby 20v and 6 speed gearbox already in, I would prefer to sell the whole lot, but am willing to break if need be, the car is not running yet, but the engine has been rebuilt using scat rods rs2 parts and arp headbolts, if you are thinking of doing the same thing as I did, either buy a s2 and a cq and strip both or just buy mine. Let me know if you are interested. I have a project thread on here for you to see also.
