need to decide

I can't decide between these (I know its an audi site but need some help deciding which wheels):

option 1

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t.../Image0465.jpg

option 2

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t.../Image0721.jpg

Note - option one won't be in orange if they go back on the car as someone else has then on there car in the same colour so want something different now.

Coxy 15-01-11 10:36 PM

I'd go for the Toyota!

Gouldy 15-01-11 10:56 PM

i like the SLR reps, option 2

a6v6 15-01-11 11:01 PM

Option 1 for Me...Option 2 looks Rover/MG ish....Well it does to me..

Acidburn 15-01-11 11:06 PM

thanks for the replies, I should add that the rs6's look bigger compaired to the slr's and definately easier to clean. The slr's fit but are slowly killing the car as they are too wide (8.5's and 9.5's spaced out respectively) so i've either got to change back to the rs6's or leave these on and will at vrs in northampton said I can borrow his arch rolling tool to sort this (or quattronutter/aiden said he'd flare the archs out for me when the next lot of works done on the car)

20vcqdriver 15-01-11 11:18 PM

You need another option.... Non of the above:lol:

styler 15-01-11 11:44 PM

RS6s are easier to clean.......

Hanuman 15-01-11 11:45 PM

option 1 in black and white
or
option 1 wheels, option 2 colours

missfire 15-01-11 11:46 PM

1. gunmetal, for me:nod:

quattrokid 20-01-11 08:52 PM

where did you get option 2?

wouldnt mind those for the cabrio:tup:

Acidburn 20-01-11 08:54 PM

Would they fit the cab?

8.5jx19 et 35 at the front running 235/35/19 tyres
9.5jx19 et 38 at the rears running 235/35/19 tyres

I got them off ebay, I got lucky as no-one bid on them as the auction ended at a wierd time and it was in newport pagnell, I go to northampton nearly every week so easy to pick them up.

quattrokid 20-01-11 08:59 PM

got the cabby here....its 225/40/ZR18's tyres, dont know the off set though... I'll ask next door:tup:

oh!! you have 2 different size rims!! :(

Acidburn 20-01-11 09:02 PM

They are staggered rims, how I bought them, you can get them to match and in 18's as I know someone with them.

rears poke slightly but not too bad.

Emjay 20-01-11 09:06 PM

maybe it's my age and each to their own and all that but I have to say (very politely and meaning no offence) why? :o

Acidburn 20-01-11 09:10 PM

Just to clarify - why what?

quattrokid 20-01-11 09:13 PM

who makes the rims please? any linky's:ihih::tup:

Baggee 20-01-11 09:14 PM

Sorry to be an old man, but can you put a third option up...neither of the above. No offence meant but you might get a wider opinion in the voting

Emjay 20-01-11 09:17 PM

I'm not sure what your trying to achieve with the wheels. Orange ones look right in your face, silver ones look better but I'm not sure they suit the overall look and balance etc.

I'm not convinced either really suit the car and what you are really trying to achieve. End of the day I guess it's down to the sort of statement you want to make

And why a Passat? seems a leftfield choice for such treatment. Like I say just intriqued in the thought process

quattrokid 20-01-11 09:19 PM

B7 RS4 rims perhaps

sorry don't really like any of them

quattrokid 20-01-11 09:34 PM

these were on the car when we got it.

BryFlyinBy 20-01-11 09:58 PM

Pete, I'd go for the SLR rims and roll the arches, the RS6 have been done to death. Merc rims make the refreshing change.
Maybe split them and paint the centres orange, would be cool
