Been watching this thread for a while now, and thought I would post this for thought:
http://www.theguardian.com/world/201...-syrian-rebels An article going back to 2012, and what some have already said here. I see the g20 have met up. Interesting to see terrorists condemning terrorists:wierdo: Sorry thread drift a little... |

Would be a lot easier for them to go to Saudi Arabia but for some reason they dont want to go to another Muslim Country. I wonder why  |
The problems go way back.
Blair should have left well alone regarding Iraq and Afghanistan. These countries need strong leaders, harsh in fact to keep them stable. Then our idiot leaders in the EU have this big experiment for a united Europe that no one voted for and free movement. Then they think its a good idea to flood migrants in without checks. There is an old saying that you reap what you sow Welcome to the harvest people As always the people responsible for all this cr*p and i dont mean the terrorist's are the ones that are not affected by it all ie the poxy politicians |
Well in an attempt to try and get some kind of answer to my problem, ie the lack of reporting in the media, I sent a set of questions to the "impartial" bbc.
Heres what they shat out at me today. A beeb wallah said: " Thanks for contacting us about our coverage of the migrant crisis. We have received a wide range of feedback about our coverage of this story. In order to use our TV licence fee resources efficiently, this response aims to answer the key concerns raised, but we apologise in advance if it doesn’t address your specific points in the manner you would prefer. The situation along Europe’s borders is a complex one. The issue affects Europe as a continent, the member states and institutions of the European Union, the UK and of course the migrants and refugees themselves. In our coverage we have strived to tell the stories of all of these different factors and have aimed to reflect the often different opinions on how the situation has come to pass and how it should be solved. Across our programmes and reports we have heard from migrants and refugees who want to come to the UK and Europe. We have also heard from those in the UK and across Europe who feel their countries can’t cope with the increase in population this would result in. We have heard from UK politicians and organisations who feel the UK in particular cannot cope or deal with an influx of migrants. We have reflected concerns that public services like the NHS and schools are already under enormous pressure. Our coverage has featured those concerned about the breakdown in security at some border crossings in Eastern Europe and at Calais. We have spoken to government representatives from countries like Hungary who are opposed to taking in refugees. During our programmes and coverage they have explained their positions and the reasons behind their decisions. We have reflected the complex make-up of the migrants looking to enter Europe, making it clear that some are refugees fleeing war in countries like Syria, but that others are choosing to move country for economic reasons. As with any story, our aim is to report on this subject over time in a fair, accurate and impartial manner. We believe we have allowed our audience to make their minds up on the issues at hand, but we were sorry to read you felt otherwise on this occasion. Your concerns have been raised with senior editorial staff at BBC News. Please be assured they consider audience feedback such as yours vital in approaching how they report on a story. Kind regards Charles Donnelly BBC Complaints" Just the kind of garbage claptrap I expected, so yet again I sent them this: "Sir, You have done what I expected in your response, you failed to answer any of the questions I put to you. Again, Why are you not reporting on the negative impacts the migrants are bestowing on local populations into which they are parachuted? Such as forced prostitution of women and minors? Or intimidation of local people? Where are the reports of the riots in Hungary? The destruction of aid from workers trying to help these ungrateful lot? The protest marches across Germany Sweden and Norway? The fact that Sweden is now the rape capital of Europe due to the influx of sadistic, lawless scum masquerading as refugees? The rock throwing gangs that pelted a train? The mob of "refugees" that ran amok in Budapest shouting "**** You!" and " Allah Akbar!"? Have you reported on the so called refugees making throat cutting gestures to anyone filming them in broad daylight at a train station? No! The Swedish woman raped by up to 6 "refugees" who were traced back to a local asylum centre? Wheres your impartial report on that event? The antisemitic attacks? You didnt report on the protests in Scotland by locals, right on our doorstep. Take a look at youtube and liveleak then tell me youve been impartial! Your coverage is nothing less than propaganda to please the left. So once again, answer my questions without resorting to the previous types of blah, it makes you look totally dishonest and deliberately evasive at best. The truth will set you free, try telling it. Regards." Lets see what they say to that. |
probably will not answer................
|
Har har, a reesponse may be forthcoming.....
"Another beeber said: We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our earlier response to your complaint and appreciate that you felt strongly enough to contact us again about the matter. In these circumstances we aim to investigate and reply to you normally within up to 20 working days (around four weeks) but will contact you if we believe it may take longer. The time needed at this stage depends on the detail of the issues needing investigation, practical issues such as whether a production team is available or away on location and how many other complaints are also having to be investigated. We aim to use your licence fee as efficiently as we can, so if you have complained about the same issues as others we will send our response to you and everyone. We may also not investigate or reply in great detail if a complaint doesn’t suggest a potential breach of BBC standards, or a significant issue of general importance. This is in line with the BBC Trust’s complaints procedures which you can read at: www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/governance/complaints_framework/." Why they feel the need to keep yarping on about the licence fee (twice in 2 emails) is an odd one, anyone would think thats all theyre interested in, surely no? I shall not be holding my breath on this one. :) |
Excellent. Both responses demonstrate that reporting the use of the licence fee is equally important as the reporting of events and answering the question.
I suspect that in the modern age of cover thine arse, any response forthcoming will be sufficiently vague in answering the question, but will certainly by mindful of the continuing use of the fee. Don't let the dinner burn waiting on an answer. |
Well a few weeks appear to have slid by until this appeared in my inbox.
Can you guess to what they feel is the most important issue to them? Mentioned 3 times in as many emails. :D "Thank you for taking time to contact us again recently. We had referred your complaint to the relevant staff and are normally able to investigate and reply to most complaints at this stage (which is stage 1b of the complaints process) within 20 working days of receipt, or around four weeks. However this is to inform you that we believe it may now take longer than 20 working days before you receive our reply. We apologise for this and have brought the matter to the attention of the relevant staff again. The delay in answering may be due to their unavailability or other production commitments. We therefore ask you not to contact us further in the meantime. If however it does prove necessary to do so please use our webform at www.bbc.co.uk/complaints or write to us, quoting the case reference number we have provided. We aim to use your licence fee as efficiently as we can, so if you have complained about the same issues as others we will send our response to you and everyone. We may also not investigate or reply in great detail if a complaint doesn’t suggest a potential breach of BBC standards, or a significant issue of general importance. This is in line with the BBC Trust’s complaints procedures which you can read at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/govern...nts_framework/ We appreciate your continuing patience in waiting for a response and will reply as soon as possible. Kind regards BBC Complaints team" I smell something smelly like poo only stronger about to be vomited forth from them, probably something like " Not in the public interest" or " Youre wrong we're right, la la la not listening". |
Slight thread drift.
At lunchtime on BBC2 Tory MP Nadine Dorries stated that we contribute £350m a day to the EU and she added that that was enough to build a hospital every day, puts into perspective of the cost of being in the EU Hmm? |
quite a lot of money,
BUT... how much a day do we benefit from the EU? |
