Good information shown here sir, recently been looking around for answer with regards to idling issue for K-jet engine.

Just wondering, does KE-jetronic fuel distributor/metering head interchangeable to K-jet one? It would be nightmare for me if one day the fuel distributor fail on my A90Q.

Not really, the working principles are different. The whole system could be installed, though. Which usually means KE-jet being swapped for K-jet due to mechanic unability do to anything more than swap parts.

Unfortunately mechanics nowadays are more familiar with modern electronic fuel injection system instead of the k-jet. This has cost me a rare RHD manual 200 5t left sitting and rotten under my garage for more than 10 years!

The only part there which has been glued are bolt holes, so that it would be easy to identify if the potentiometer has been touched. That potentiometer has long, oval screw holes, to enable adjustment by turning it slightly to one side or another. Only adjustment is tricky, because voltage changes even when you're just tightening bolts, as I mentioned, so be prepared, it's not easy. A couple of times I've done it, it took me about hour to catch voltage fine enough.

Alrighty!!! I get it now! thank you very much dear sir! And if you were to buy all the engine parts that you need where would you order them from? I will probably have to order it online since I am 2000KM away... :D anyways thank you very much for information :)

Injection system parts? I'm usually using local junkyards  If I would be serious about having KE3-jetronic for myself, then I would buy new original injectors and try to get some new potentiometer - new injectors could be ordered in some stores, while potentiometers could be found in ebay, only I've heard that some will workd and some not.

You can always switch to EFI with some programmable ECU [my personal preferance would be VEMS, but it depends on pricing and tuners available locally] of, if you can get some specialist who could tune motronic, switch to some 20vt motronic.

I been reading up on the ke3 system since i got a c4 2.3 aar and having a warm start problem.. when engine is hot it cranks but will not start but i can always start it by pulling out the 2 pin temp sensor and can put it back in once started. i put new sensor in and not fixed it. on cold mornings i also need to start the car like 3 times to keep it on but it will always fire up. I have meusured the mA of the cpr and with ignition on it was 14.8 and when running arround 26. I have been messing arround with the srew in the cpr.. because at first when plugged in the car would run rough. There is also a rattle from the exhaust and i will be changing it along with new o2 sensor. Say that my o2 and cat is bad would it trow of the cpr mA like that? It should be more like 0 to 5mA when idle correct? What should i check out first?
